CHALLENGE
Catholic Charities' mission is to provide compassionate and caring services to the
poor and vulnerable in our community. Their ability to do that was becoming
difficult due to its existing space restrictions in Janesville and Beloit. Catholic
Charities reached out to Bill Mears and Adam Shultz to assess its current facilities
and provide information on available opportunities in the market.
ACTION
Mears and Shultz were tasked with finding a new location large enough to
accommodate merging the two locations and their growing clientele. After
performing a needs analysis and reviewing the southern Wisconsin market,
an ideal space was located at Arrow Park, the former Parker Pen production
facility then provided guidance and assistance to Catholic Charities through the negotiations and lease signing.
RESULTS
• 11,845 SF leased
• Catholic Charities doubled its capacity
• Seven-year lease
"Working with Adam and Bill was a seamless experience. They helped us
understand the limitations in the market and available spaces and, once
identified, gave us the guidance and support we needed to navigate through
the lease negotiation process."
