My consensus for the Q4 Rock Ready Index is that we also see many national trends locally in our backyard. Housing types are needed at all single and multi-family levels, including starter, mid, and executive options. Pricing and median sales numbers remain aggressive locally, accretive to lack of inventory. The largest bright spot noted in the Q4 RRI is the groundbreaking on the twenty-year-in-the-making Beloit Ho Chunk Casino project. After a lengthy planning process, dirt is finally moving, providing construction jobs and many hospitality jobs once complete. Local residents will no longer have to drive to Madison, Milwaukee, or Rockford to enjoy a gaming session, which should result in a significant boom for the local economy.
